Bangalore, April 10: For all those aspirants of a seat in a professional college, the Common Entrance Test (CET) for 2008 is on April 19. About 1.13 lakh students will appear for the one day CET.
This year, the CET for admission to the first year of engineering, architecture, medical, dental, ayurveda, unani, homoeopathy, naturopathy and yoga courses, Indian Systems of Medicine and homoeopathy and engineering technology courses will be a one day affair conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
For the first time ever, the KEA will conduct the CET since its conception as an autonomous examination authority – Karnataka Examination Authority.
