Faridabad, India: Jiva’s commitment to manufacture quality products conforming to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) norms of the government and meeting international standards, received a fillip with the recent HACCP certification.

With a range of over 200 beauty and healthcare products that include tablets, syrups, powders, Chyawanprash, soaps, shampoos and toners, Jiva has successfully helped millions of people to lead healthy, balanced life. It has a global presence with a customer base spanning 100 countries, five continents including the U.S., Mexico, France, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Latvia, South Africa and Japan, besides India.

“This [HACCP certification] is going to reassure the faith that patients across the world repose on Jiva’s quality medicines and health products”, emoted Dr. Partap Chauhan, Director, Jiva Ayurveda, reacting to the latest feather in his organisation’s cap.

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points or, in short, HACCP certification is an internationally-recognised systematic preventive approach to food and pharmaceutical safety. It involves monitoring of the daily work in the manufacturing process to prevent hazards caused by physical, chemical and biological means. It is opposed to a majority of other quality control systems that involve finished product inspection.
