A R O G Y A 2007 Comprehensive International Health Fair on Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.

The Department of AYUSH and ITPO have been organizing AROGYA, a comprehensive health fair, since 2001 in New Delhi as well as in regional fairs in Hyderabad, Chennai and Dehradun in order to create awareness about the efficacy and objective of AYUSH systems of medicine. With a view to promoting AYUSH systems abroad and to provide an opportunity for other countries to see the progress in these systems, it has been decided to organize the AROGYA fair at international level. Accordingly, an International Arogya is being organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from October 26-29,2007.

  • To showcase the strengths and potential of Indian systems of medicine.
  • To exhibit the Research and Development efforts in this sector.
  • To interact with practitioners and consumers and other stakeholders.

The fair will attract all major stakeholders in the AYUSH sector like manufacturers, retailers, consumer health care product manufacturers, health food producers and processors, medical practitioners and publishers from India as well as other countries. The general public will also visit the fair in large numbers.
